Telemetry Monitoring at Your Facility or Home
Continuous ECG-based cardiac monitoring for patients at risk of arrhythmias, syncope, or sudden cardiac events — delivered without requiring hospitalization across South Florida.
What Is Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring?
Cardiac telemetry monitoring uses wireless sensors attached to the patient's chest to continuously record and transmit ECG (electrocardiogram) data. Unlike a standard 12-lead EKG, which captures only a brief snapshot, telemetry provides continuous monitoring — capturing intermittent arrhythmias that a single EKG might miss.
At Specialist Consultation Network, we bring telemetry monitoring capabilities directly to the patient's location. This eliminates the need for hospitalization solely for monitoring purposes and is particularly valuable for patients in nursing facilities, assisted living residences, or at home who need cardiac surveillance but are medically stable enough to remain in their current setting.
Our clinical team reviews telemetry data, identifies rhythm abnormalities, and communicates findings with the facility's medical director or the patient's primary care physician for coordinated management.
Clinical Indications for Telemetry
Device Interrogation
For patients with implanted cardiac devices — including pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders — we also provide on-site device interrogation. Our team can retrieve stored data from these devices without requiring a separate office or hospital visit.
Note: We perform device interrogation only, not device programming or optimization, which requires specialized equipment at a cardiac device clinic.
Rapid Response
We respond to telemetry orders within 48–72 hours. For urgent situations, call our clinical line directly at (954) 406-6642 to expedite scheduling.
